How Munimetric Uses Public Data

Public records are the foundation

Munimetric uses structured public records, including EPA Safe Drinking Water Act compliance data, American Community Survey indicators, FEMA National Risk Index context, and state or local disclosure materials where available.

Normalization and provenance

Source records are normalized into consistent entities and score inputs while preserving provenance. Missing values remain explicit. The platform does not fabricate unavailable fields to complete a profile.

Deterministic scoring and confidence

The v1 MISI model is threshold-based and deterministic. Confidence reflects weighted factor availability and mapping quality. Low-confidence scores remain visible but should be interpreted with caution.

Data boundaries

  • No transaction routing, execution, or advisory behavior.
  • No ratings-agency outputs.
  • No synthetic data to fill source gaps.

Where this appears in the product

Source-backed outputs flow into profile pages, state dashboards, and category hubs. For scoring architecture details, see Methodology.
